Sturdy storage bench for entryway
I have been using this storage bench for four years now and there’s no single wear or tear yet.It’s a great sturdy product.
It was easy to assemble. It holds eight of our normal sized shoes and one tall shoe. We used the storage to keep our socks and umbrellas inside. Definitely recommend this product.

Looks nice and holds lots of shoes! I like that I can sit on it to put my sneaks on.
I’m not that great at putting things together but it really wasn’t too hard to assemble. As shown, this holds six pairs of shoes and then has the extra cubby, I ended up putting another pair of shoes in that larger cubby. I probably won’t put wet boots or anything in it once winter gets here, but all summer etc. this is good for storage. The item is sturdy and I can sit on it to change shoes etc. I keep my garden hat and gloves in the seat storage and will switch out for my winter gloves soon. Only goofy thing was the seat cover got pinched a bit in the box and had a dent in it (the foam was pressed in ). I squeezed it out for the most part but it wasn’t a big deal, the cushion is thinnish but it works out fine. I like the sturdy metal framing. Over all, good item for the $. Make sure you measure.

Impressed! don’t use the provided tools use electric !!
I needed a display/storage bench !!!!!! this is so simple yet adds so much character when filled with the right things!!! It is extremely sturdy when fully built. Building was a litttle difficult – some of the pre made holes are not deep enough but an electric drill fixed all those issues – the provided tools DO NOT WORK WELL AT ALL. Left me angry and as soon as I grabbed the electric one all my problems were solved!!!!!! Directions are pretty straight forward although i put one piece on backwards and had to take it all apart just to flip around one piece … annoying but fixable. All the holes are aligned properly though which is what I was the most worried about – otherwise this thing is perfect and exactly what I was looking for !!!!!!!!

I like it and it works well for me
I bought this for my walk-in closet. It provides a great dressing bench and a convenient place to store shoes. The metal stand makes it sturdy and solid. The bench top fits well and the open-assist cylinder was easy to install, works well, and I didn’t need to fiddle with it after I screwed it into place. Keeping in mind that it is particle board, I know it won’t stand the test of time, but I like it and it works well for me.

Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing
I’ve been looking for an entryway bench for a while. I grabbed the bigger of the two sizes available. So far I’m pleased with how it looks and it’s sturdiness. I don’t know that I would have purchased it at full price. I think the sale price was fair. ($69.99) It took us about 20 minutes to assemble. It might take others less time. The only time it was a two-person job is when we attached the hinges to the lid. I’m happy with it and would recommend it.

Great shoe storage bench
It’s nicer than I expected, actually. Took me about 30-40 minutes to assemble (all by myself, without a man’s help). The instructions are as clear as it gets. There wasn’t a single point where I would be confused as to what part or hardware goes where. All the parts are clearly marked with numbers and all the hardware is of great quality! I truly enjoyed assembling it unlike some other furniture I had assembled before. The bench looks very nice in my entrance hall and feels durable and sturdy. All the storage space it offers is a great bonus! I highly recommend it.

This is nice and what I needed. The top bench and storage is great for outside items storage. The only thing I don’t like is the shoe storage size. My husband has a average male shoe size but his shoes do not fit the hight. I have to jam them in.

Works Well as an Entry Bench with Storage
tldr: No complaints.
The long part:
Arrived about 3 weeks early. No tariffs or other charges collected by UPS, so the Amazon price was good. All the parts were there (two were stuck together, cushion 13 and board 4, but easily peeled apart) and there were extra screws and one extra dowel. Tools were included. It has veneer over particle board, but the veneer is pretty thick, covers all sides except for a tiny bit on Board #8 where the hinges seat, and, over all, quality is higher than expected for this price. Looks like solid wood rather than veneer once assembled. The particle board was decent enough that most screws seated as well as they would have in solid wood but you still need to be careful on the torque. The instructions are almost fool-proof (pay attention to steps marked ⚠ and you will be fine, ignore the attention icon at your peril) and all parts fit together as expected. Can be assembled by one person, but much easier for two.
So, it’s a great value, well built, and mine arrived earlier than Amazon said that it would. But you might want to know:

I see a bunch of guys, probably in Vermont, working in a home cottage industry-type facility producing high quality furniture.
So, scoped out the IP and found that this is an Alibaba product made in China.
I have no problem with that and am glad some hardworking folks produce such a great product at a low price and hope that they are paid well for their labor, but, in the end, this storage bench is not crafted by the rugged Vermont woodsmen you see in their advert.
Oh yeah, and I put wood glue in the peg holes which is something you might normally do yourself if when you want a piece of well-made furniture to be a permanent fixture in your cabin.
Last of all, looks great!
